Fibromyalgia

We have validated a reserpine-induced Fibromyalgia rat model that replicates the human symptoms and its complexity, providing a reliable tool for advancing research and identifying treatments. We have demonstrated the effects of Pregabalin and Duloxetine (two of the leading available treatments for Fibromyalgia) in this model and are excited to compare your next Fibromyalgia treatment with them.

Migraine

We have fully validated the PACAP-38 rat model of acute migraine. The Pituitary adenylate-cyclase-activating polypeptide-38 (PACAP-38) model has great translatability potential through its ability to trigger an acute migraine response in both animals and humans. This model can induce both periorbital and plantar mechanical allodynia in our rat model and this can successfully be reversed using a PAC1 receptor antagonist.

Multiple Sclerosis - NLRP3 Inflammasome

We are pleased to report the pharmacological validation of a NLRP3 inflammasome inhibitor in a mouse model of multiple sclerosis, specifically experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). Our latest results indicate that MCC950 is instrumental in reducing pro-inflammatory cytokines within the central nervous system and in enhancing motor function in the affected animals.

Pain - Nav1.8

With the recent success of Suzetrigine's approval as a novel non-opioid, non-addictive treatment for pain we are revalidating our extensive library of in vivo pain models with this exciting new entry into the clinical pain treatment arena.
